Duke Cherish Hallic is the elder brother and young Duke of the house of Hallic of Sellueccia. He's kind, gentle and compassionate which are all qualities unbefitting of a Duke responsible for the maintence of the ocean border with the Patalinean Empire. Cherish is pursuing education of a high degree unlike his predecessors and is now on the run keeping his and his sisters head on their bodies after being threatened by the Sellueccian church for the family secret.

cherish was originally concieved of as kismet's dead older brother but i decided to leave him alive and utilize his character as a much needed voice of reason and compassion in a story with many, many little cruel freaks with no common sense. dec '25
